Blog Assignment 2

This is your next assignment.  Most of you got the hang of blogging.  I liked the interaction on some of the comments that were made. Remeber to comment on 2 other blogs after you publish your answers. This assignment is due by 8:30 on March 6th.

1. Read Genetic Testing on pages 484-486 and answer the following questions.
2. What do you think are the pros and cons of genetic testing?
3. What is the main point of this reading.
4. What does the term "designer children mean?
5. If you could, would you want to know if your medical destiny?
6. If you knew that your future partner might have a medical issue, would you still go forward with the relationship?

Blog Assignment 1

Now that your blogs are set up , we are ready to begin blogging.  This is your first assignment and it is due Wednesday, February 27th.  Remember after you have completed the assignment and published your response, you need to comment on 2 other classmates' blogs. Keep your comments to the subject and remember to use language that is acceptable.

1. In the text read Issue 2: Cyberbullying on pages 489-491.  Keep in mind how we discussed how to preview a reading. What position do you expect the author to take on this subject?
2. What is the topic and the main point of this reading?
3. List three terms the author uses to describe new ways in which technology is used to bully others.
4. List at least four effects of bullying that are described in this article.
5. Have you or anyone you know ever been a victim of cyberbullying?
